This policy explains what information Nautical Dreams LTD ("we", "us") collects when you use SiteProjects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Nautical Dreams LTD is responsible for (the "controller" of) your personal information. We handle it in line with Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020, and other data protection laws that apply to you.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in a securely hashed form; we cannot read them.
- Project content: plans, photos, albums, measurements, messages, attachments, expenses and other information you or your team add.
- Usage and device information: sign-in sessions, IP address and browser type, used to keep you signed in and to protect accounts.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
2. How we use it
- to provide SiteProjects, including sharing project content with the people you choose;
- to send notifications about your projects;
- to keep the service secure and prevent misuse;
- to respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
We do this because we need to in order to provide the service you signed up for, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping SiteProjects secure and working well, or because the law requires it.
3. Who can see your information
Within SiteProjects, project content is visible only to members of that project, according to the access set by the project owner or manager. Clients see only what has been shared with them.
We use trusted service providers to run the app, who process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel – hosting, and storage of uploaded files such as plans and photos;
- Neon – database storage for accounts and project information.
These providers may store data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. We may also share information if the law requires it.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, which keep you signed in and protect your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we must keep some of it by law (for example, financial records). Content you shared into another person's project may remain part of that project.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- see the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or limit how we use it;
- complain to a data protection authority, such as Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner or the authority where you live.

7. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access checks that make sure people can only see the projects they belong to. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
SiteProjects is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "last updated" date above and let you know in the app about important changes.
